Application and Consumer Protection

These General Terms and Conditions ("Terms") are applicable to the purchase agreement that you as a consumer conclude with Västerås Destilleri AB, organization number 559306-2846. To safeguard your interests as a customer, the provisions of the Consumer Purchase Act (SFS 1990:932), the Distance and Home Sales Act (SFS 2005:59) and the Data Protection Regulation GDPR (SFS 2018:218) are applied to all purchases. The Data Protection Ordinance and the Data Protection Act are also supplemented by provisions in SFS 2018:219 

Cookies

Västerås Destilleri uses so-called "cookies" to get good functionality on our website. We do not collect any personal information about you as a visitor. Instead, cookies are used to keep track of your shopping cart and to remember the choices and settings you made on Västerås Distillery's website. By navigating Västerås Destilleri's website, you agree to us storing cookies.

You can turn off the cookie function in your browser's security settings.

Terms of purchase

Västerås Destilleri sells goods via the internet to private individuals and companies in Sweden. To shop with us, you must be 18 years old and have a valid Swedish ID document for parcel shipments. If you are under 18 years of age, you must have consent to your purchase from your guardian.

Tickets

The Distance Contracts Act's rules on the right of withdrawal do not apply to the purchase of registrations/tickets/seats for events. Once a booking has been made, you as a customer are bound by your purchase, regardless of whether you attend the event or not. No bookings/purchases can be made without advance payment. You are responsible for checking whether an event has been moved or cancelled. If an event is cancelled, you should immediately contact the responsible organizer, who is responsible for questions about their possible refund/new event opportunity for registrations/places/tickets.

The booking number You receive after completing the purchase/booking is proof of Your payment/booking. Save this booking number and bring it to the event. No physical tickets, receipts or confirmations will be sent out.

If you choose to pay via invoice, you as a customer are bound by the purchase, regardless of whether you attend the event or not. However, a booking with invoice payment is not valid/confirmed until the invoice is paid. The organizer thus has the right to cancel unpaid bookings before the event.

Ordering

Orders are placed on our webshop, www.vasterasdestilleri.com. A purchase agreement is established when your order has been confirmed by Västerås Destilleri via e-mail to the e-mail address you specified when ordering. By ordering, you accept these Terms. 

Prices and product images

All prices are stated in Swedish kronor including VAT. The product images on the website do not guarantee the exact appearance of the item. We reserve the right for any errors in the product information and reserve the right to change product information and prices without prior notice. We reserve the right for price adjustments, final sales, inventory differences, technical problems, changes to technical specifications and any typographical errors on our site or in our advertisements. We reserve the right to cancel incorrect orders.

Payment

At the checkout, payment is made via card payment.

Shipping and delivery

Västerås Destilleri delivers to addresses within Sweden. We ship the goods within five working days of receiving the order confirmation.
Västerås Distilleri uses the following shipping options:
· Bill of lading, for smaller shipments that can be left in a letterbox.
· Parcel, the goods are sent to the nearest delivery point. When the package is available for collection, an SMS with information about the serial number is sent to the mobile phone number specified when ordering. When picking up a shipment, a valid ID document must be presented.

You can also choose to pick up your goods at our distillery free of charge by agreement.

Unclaimed packages

Packages that have not been picked up within fourteen (14) days are returned to Västerås Destilleri. If this happens, you will be charged a fee of SEK 299 (SEK) for costs attributable to Västerås Distillery for administration, shipping, return shipping and handling. Unredeemed packages are not covered by the right of withdrawal.
Please therefore note that if you regret a purchase and want to return the product, you must first pick up the package and then return it as described above.

Right of withdrawal and return

As a consumer, you always have a fourteen (14) day right of withdrawal according to the Distance and Home Sales Act. If you want to return your physical item for exchange or repurchase during this time, please contact us at info@Vasterasdestilleri.com. Västerås Destilleri has no possibility to reimburse the cost of return shipping afterwards. The right of withdrawal applies under the condition that the goods are kept in essentially unchanged condition. 

 

We need the following information:
a) order ID (found in your order confirmation, delivery note or invoice)
b) your name and contact details
c) number and name of the products that are desired to be returned.

Västerås Destilleri does not pay for return shipping and returns cannot be sent against cash on delivery/cash on delivery.

Refund

After the return has been received and approved, a refund of the entire purchase price including possible shipping costs (not the return shipping) will be made within thirty (30) days from the time Västerås Destilleri has received and checked it.  Reimbursement is only made by deposit to a bank account, not in cash. 

Transport damage

Västerås Destilleri is responsible for goods that are damaged or lost during delivery to you. Claims for transport damage must be made within 3 days of receiving the item. When receiving the shipment, it is therefore important to check that the goods have not been damaged in transit. Västerås Distillery recommends that you report any transport damage directly on site to the delivery agent and then contact Västerås Distillery. Remember to keep all packaging and the product's packaging in the event of transport damage.

Complaint

If you have received a defective or incorrectly shipped product, please contact us immediately at info@vasterasdestilleri.com. Please describe the error in as much detail as possible. If we cannot solve the problem, you can of course complain about the product to get a new one. Complaints must be made in accordance with the instructions you receive from us. 
In the event of a dispute, we follow The General Complaints Board's recommendations. You can also proceed with your complaint on the EU's common dispute resolution page, which you can find here: http://ec.europa.eu/odr.

Personal data

Västerås Destilleri is responsible for ensuring that the personal data provided in connection with purchases is handled in accordance with the EU's data protection regulation (GDPR) and other applicable Swedish data protection legislation. By accepting the purchase agreement with Västerås Destilleri, you consent to your data being saved, in order to process your order and carry out the purchase, facilitate future purchases, enable updating of your order status. 

Personal data is only saved as long as it is necessary to fulfill the purposes for which they were intended or fulfill obligations according to applicable laws and regulations. Your personal data is permanently deleted or anonymized when it is no longer relevant for the purposes for which it was collected or is no longer required by law or agreement.
